How would I describe myself (in a nice way)?
If I had to describe myself in three words, I’d go with eclectic, spontaneous, and overly animated — and honestly, both people who know me well and people who just met me tend to agree 😄
At 36, I feel pretty grounded in who I am. I’ve built a strong sense of self over the years… with the classic creative twist of a slightly excessive amount of self-doubt and imposter syndrome sprinkled in for flavor (you know, just to keep things interesting).
I’m deeply passionate about the things I care about — inclusion, diversity, equality — and I could happily talk about pretty much anything (seriously, test me). I have a lot of empathy for how people navigate life, and even when I don’t agree with someone, I value that every perspective comes from lived experience.
Professionally, I’m the owner of Teizar Consulting, where I bring ideas to life as a technical writer and presentation professional. I also work in graphic design, which lets me blend clarity with creativity — my favorite combination.
Basically: I’m equal parts thoughtful, expressive, curious, and just a little bit chaotic in the best way ✨
What do I do?
I’m an artist
I have experience across several different types of mediums – my most prominent being digitally with clip studio art or sketchbook, and traditionally with watercolors.
I’m a reader
I won’t pretend that I only read really smart things even though I have a bookshelf full of smart looking books. While I have in fact spent some time skimming through a bit of philosophy and history, my favorite things to read are comics from Japan (which maaaay show in my artwork haha).
I’m a gamer
Being a 90s kid I grew up with Pokémon, Mario, and JRPGs. I still have mad love for Pokémon (ask me how many hours I played soulsilver) but lately my FAVORITE game is Final Fantasy 14.
I’m a biker
Not to be mistaken with ACTUAL bikers on motorized vehicles, my ride of choice is my mountain bike. I’m still learning but I really enjoy hurling myself down precarious trails laden with rocks and tree roots.
